Jennifer was born in northern Manitoba and grew up in rural Alberta,

just outside the city of Edmonton.  Her family moved to the United States

in 1989 and has since lived in six different states.  Central Kansas

was her home for four years where she attended Bethel College,

receiving a B.A. in art in 1996.  Since then Jennifer taught art at the

secondary level for 9 years while continuing her own practice and

education in art.   She received an MFA from the Maryland Institute College

of Art, and moved to Colorado in 2008, where she currently resides.

Her work has exhibited in many juried shows and settings,

from Colorado to Maryland, including the Columbus Museum of Art in Ohio.

From 2009 – 2012, Jennifer was a resident artist at Redline, a non-profit

contemporary gallery and studio space with emphasis on

community outreach.  She is an Assistant Professor in the Fine Art and

Art Education Departments at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design.
